All articles published in Jurnal Ekonomi Pembangunan are published in full open access. In order to provide free access to readers, to improve our journal management system, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, long-term archiving, and journal management, All articles accepted after Desember 31, 2024, are subject to "Article Processing Charge". An article processing charge (APC) of 1.500.000 (IDR) or 150 (USD) applies to papers accepted after peer review paid by authors or their institutions. The fee covers:

• The standard fifteen (15) pages manuscript. An extra fee of 100.000 (IDR) or 10 (USD) will be charged for every additional page.
• DOI registration for each paper.
• Checking the final article similarity by iThenticate.

A waiver or partial waiver will be available for paper submission of authors from a minimum of three countries, low-income countries, or invited authors decided by the editor in case of lack of funding, excessive length of the submitted manuscript or other reasonable reasons provided by the author during the submission. The author should clearly declare that he asks for a waiver in the comments to the Editor box during their submission. A waiver is most likely to be denied if it is not asked in this stage. The waiver will have no effect on the review result.

When the article has been declared accepted, the manuscript should be checked and edited by an English Language Editor (Proofreader).
